I don't like "Take Me With U." Hate is a strong word, and I don't dislike it enough to say I hate it, but I usually skip it when I listen to PR.

"Under The Cherry Moon" - it just kind of meanders along

"Dance On" - meh

"God (instrumental)" - but only when it gets into the heavy drum fills in the 2nd half

"Lemon Crush"

"Shy" - I've actually taken it out of my library, and resegued the songs before & after it to blend together

I like the way this song begins but midway through,it becomes a noisy mess

Does everyone love "Christopher Tracy's Parade"? I think it's his weakest opener of the 80s. It makes me demerit Parade as an album because I always skip the nonsensical opener. People cite a Beatles influence in Prince's music around this era, and I'm not going to lend that much further discussion because he denied it, but if the Beatles' more surrealist / gobbledy-gook nonsense lyrics inspired this track in any way, I prefer when Prince sticks to lifting riffs from Funkadelic (see "Strange Relationship" / "Let's Make It Last").

Maybe if he had left out the line "making love till cherry's gone", I'd be able to stand the song.
