With all the new technology available today, I want to to start archiving my Prince collection on videos to DVD. But are VCDs just as good? Should I get a DVDR upgrade for my computer or a stand alone DVDR player? Im not very computer literate so I need any orger advice/help. Thanks

any MPEGS i get,i just burn them on2 CD-R as VCD's & play them in my dvd player.
it is mpeg compatible luckily.
i know nothin about what 2 do so i choose the easiest way.
