Sad news as I was really looking forward to this one on vinyl. We can only hope it gets put back on the release schedule in the near future.

This was just done for ALL the albums that HAD been listed for pre-order on Vinyl starting with LoveSexy.

Black Album reissue was already stated as cancelled.

The Black Album listed on that site are the same "new" boots going up on eBay.

BUT no, wtf.. its a 2LP vinyl... very annoying.. with 2 songs only each side!

Exactly, we don't follow trends here. I started collecting vinyl back in the 1990s and carried it on through the 2000s and early 2010s long before the Vinyl craze started.

It is because of this fact, that I got 90% of my vinyl cheap and apart from 3 albums which are recent repressings I own, all my Vinyl is original or at least from a 20th century Repressing (My copy of 4U has a Purple Rain era advert inside and is likely from 1984/85 when more copies of his early albums were pressed up, so fans who dsicovered Prince through Purple Rain and 1999, could buy copies of his earlier stuff). I mean I bought the repressings as I wanted the albums on vinyl (Dirty Mind, SOTT and 1999) and didn't have them.

I am not buying the Lovesexy repressing as I have an original vinyl album from 1988 and all of the singles released off it in 7 and 12 inch.
