Night started off with the Yale Orchestra playing their arrangements of Bowie and Prince.

?Love and Kimbra were introduced and they spoke on various songs by each artist and how they influenced them. ?Love played all the Prince snippets like Do Me Baby, Little Red Corvette, Raspberry Beret. But the most intriging part of the night was when ?Love played Sister.

He explained the change in sound from Prince (album) to Dirty Mind, stuff we all know, but what perked my ears was a crystal clear version of the actual demo version of Sister. It was Prince on an acoustic guitar fleshing out the song. So cool to hear. He also played some early instrumentals that we should all have already in our bootleg collections.

I tried to talk to him, but he rushed off as he said he had to catch the train. I wanted to ask him about what he has unreleased thats not circulating and if he was the one who bought the Camille Album Test Press and the rehersal video that Big Chicks daughter sold on eBay.

He played the demo of Sister during a set at First Ave., before the Revolution concert there. It's very cool.
