Somewhere among the cars, costumes, guitars..... ....there should be some 55-gallon drums of white buttons. All sizes.
I'd love to see PP offer buttons for sale. Sew them on your pants, your shirt, your purse. The secret fan signal. What else are you curious about? [Edited 1/23/17 8:30am] Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

God I loved the SOTT/Lovesexy era! He looked so good in tailored fit suits like this one. Wish he had worn them more. Never a fan of the bigger suits on him. They seemed to drown him out a bit.

Awhile back, I dreamed that they had a rummage sale at Paisley Park - and I bought a whole bunch of fabric. I even slugged a woman who tried to get some of my fabric away from me. None of the fabric they were selling was black. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

On a more serious note, I'd just like to see his boudoir.

I was so looking forward to reading his autobiography. I would love to read those 50 pages that he wrote before he died.

His books, i would love to see some pictures of his book shelves. I saw a video of him sightseeing in France, looking around Versailles. I wonder if he did private tours of other cities with his camera in hand like a tourist. Baby, you're a star.

I'm pretty sure Nik West has that hat. It was shown in her instagram post, then later there was a caption, something to the tune of "look what Prince left for me...", I'm sure he owned more than one of those, though

That couldn't possible be his waist size! That outfit looks like an outfit that I saw Anna F. wearing in a picture with Prince.

Well at least he didn't have a smaller waist than I did in my hay day, (although he was rather close.

I think I remember the picture of a purple one like this being worn during a sound check while sitting at the piano playing and scowling. What?

She said that as she held up the cloud suit, which looked like a child's suit. Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I remember reading an article in which his chief costumer said she put the buttons down the sides of his trousers to make him look taller. She employed a number of "tricks" to make him appear larger than he was. Of course, I would have liked to measure his inseam, but we can save that for another thread ...

I'm not altogether surprised...The 27" waist was when he was at one of his more bigger (healthier?) stages. There have been many times when Prince was thin, thin, thin!

He would've been so easy to scoop up and carry away...We should've arranged a Prince-napping when we had the chance!
Dammit.

To be honest, I really envision that they display things like, his closet!! How the shoes are displayed, his jewellery and accessories, normal things like that (perhaps NOT UP in the actual closet, but maybe a replica display, if the Toronto closet was even a hint at the what his closet at PP would look like in size...I can only imagine, and it would be neat to see how it was all set up Same with the guitars But what I really really REALLY would love that a lovely collection/book of photos that PRINCE took with the various cameras we've seen over the years, the world through HIS eyes, along with some new poetry/lyrics...That is what I would really love to see They must be there somewhere since we know he kept everything Plus, whatever is on the 500 videos that were hidden Dance where y'are, just groove y'all.

I used to have a 22in waist myself and people were always amazed at how tiny my waist was. It looked a lot like the manakin's size. He had some broad shoulders though. He was such a unique individual in every way... [Edited 1/28/17 0:40am]
