Last night i had a dream about P . It was night time at a small concert hall. It was only me and a few others watching him rehearse for a performance. It was like i was apart of his team/crew, helping him out with technical things, but i was in awe. He was ripping through songs (New Songs) on stage. After the rehearsal P and his bodyguard walked passed me and asked if everything was cool. I said yes sir (i always looked at P as a big brother). Then we all got into a van, but P had his face covered with a scarf. We stopped for gas, i got out and pumped, then he said goodbye. The van drove off, and i was still shocked of the whole situation. Then i woke up .

Deep inside i still feel that his death is a nightmare or cruel joke. Rest in Peace big brother P. U deserve to rest , u put in so much work . Yah The creator of all has blessed u with beautiful talents, and u were obedient with sharing them. Much love and thank u for the inspiration .

I had one a few days ago. I was watching him rehearse at a small venue in London. I said to him "We didn't think you were coming back" - he replied and said "This is home."

In May I dreamed Prince put a black scarf over my head. Did Prince have the scarf completely covering his face in your dream? Another dream I had Prince had a dark blue or black blanket and someone else on the org had a dream of Prince with a dark blanket.

He had a black scarf covering his mouth . and a hat or a hoody .

Last night, I dreamed that his Sister, Tyka was performing/recording a song, but he didn't want to listen to it, for some reason. That was it.

Most of my dreams about Prince have been very pleasant ones, but a couple of them were very sad.

If been having some Prince dreams too. I dont have them often, but there are three that stand out.
The first is a huge backtrack, I had it when I was 12 I think. I was away for summer camp (not sure if this is an international thing, but just so Im presumpuous about American things, here sometimes parents enroll their kids in "summer camp" where kids leave home for a few weeks and learn social skills...at least that was my experience. Nothing to do with camping or survival or anything like that. Just a fun things kids might do over here. Side note: the year after this dream took place, our camp had a dance. Part of the dance involved this weird marriage idea where campers (us kids) could "propose" to campers. I assume it was a social exercise....I think, really it was just a chance for two campers to slow dance together. But in my experience, I didnt connect w any of the campers my age, but I had a huge crush on one of the female counslers. So I did the sort of thing you might do when you're 12 and dont know how to talk to a girl, I, secretly in my bunk, handwrote lyrics out on a sheet of paper, planning to deliver them and ask "will you "marry me?" for a (much older counsler.) Yeah, the practice is weird, i didnt know that at the time but the idea was that you'd ask somebody, then later at a dance, you two would dance together.

Anyway, someone in my bunk (we slept in gender groups,) found the handwritten lyrics/lovenote and brought it to everyones atention, trying to make me feel stupid for it (they did.) I was humiliated, but in the end the counsler heard about it through the grapevine and she asked me to dance. The song was U Got the Look.

ANYWAY, The year before that, I had a dream about Prince being in a car accident. The dream was violent. He was decapitated. I only say so to illustrate the weird priority dreams can have on the everyday. I was distressed. Coincidently, My family visited me the next day...I asked them to take me home. Something about the discomfort of a new environment and the vivid (i still see it clear as day) dream image of Prince suffering that injury in an accident...I needed to get outta there.

Lately, Ive had two dreams, they both had to do with wedding planning. You know how dreams are weird in that they make total sense in the dream but no sense at all when you wake up? Prince was getting married, I was in charge of organizing several things over the course of the dream, but they both ended in something going wrong and me worrying about it. The first was that I was in the wedding party and was held up and the dream was about how I would get there in time. The second was about Prince marrying a friend (not a real life friend but someone I knew in the dream) and how to coreagraph/plan a Prince wedding.

I doubt many people ready all that...Dreams are weird. They make sense somehow, but I have yet to make sense of any of these...

Aw, that's so sweet. Sounds about right though--keep on dancin'! I had another dream too, the night after reading this thread. I guess thinking about dreams makes me dream? I was sitting backstage at a concert (someone else's) and Prince was there, too. Somehow we ended up outside, walking from the arena to a beach across the street. I had thought he couldn't go out in public, but he was wearing a hood to hide his face. It wasn't a romantic walk, just a stroll with a friend and he held my hand. His hand was warm and dry. I remember feeling the warmth. We got to the beach and laid down on two beach chairs to talk. I don't remember anything he said, just that his voice was deep. The skin on his arm was so soft, and I told him so. Then he was kneeling next to the chair with no shirt on. There were wounds and bruises on his chest, in a ring from shoulder to shoulder. I leaned over and very gently kissed those bruises. I feel like I was... kissing his boo-boos to make them all better. How I wish life could be that easy.

No, it wasn't romantic. It was comfortable, bumping shoulders and holding hands, like I was going for a walk with an old friend. Somehow that's even better. I have no idea where the wounds came from. I guess from a wish that I could've done something to help him. I couldn't have of course, I didn't know the man. But in my dreams my heart can wish whatever it wants. I hope he keeps visiting, too! Someday he'll go, and I'll miss him.

The "wounds" he had on his chest seem to be symbolic. It could represent a broken heart or maybe that he was hurt by someone? Very interesting.

I had another dream Sunday night. This time Prince was teaching music; he was explaning how things work and I was paying close attention to him. I guess this is how I feel about him in life; he taught us so much about music. He was a great teacher!! I miss him!!

Haha I love this dream you had. Very interesting and puts a smile on my face. The other dream I read about I hope he is not hurt. I wouldn't want him to be hurt. I loved to make him happy. I had a dream tonight. I was walking around town and I ran into Elvis Presley. He sat down with me and just smiled at me!
