Could Prince star in his own Biopic? So I think we all agree that finding anyone to take on the role of Prince would be a nearly impossible, but the question is, does it really need to be a person? The newest Star Wars movie, Rogue One, features many actors who have long since passed on, including one who had a very prominent role in the film. There is already talk about how this technology will be used for Carrie Fisher in the next Star Wars movie. As for Prince, there is certainly enough photo and video material to recreate any era, look, move and, of course the walk. What about the voice. A Rollingstones journalist once described Prince's spekaing voice as sounding like a harmony, or many people speaking at the same time. Well, take a look at the controversy surrounding Adobe's new product called Audio Photoshop, or Project Voco. It can edit and recreate anyone's voice with perfect pitch and inflection with a sample audio source. Check out the video of how it works here: https://youtu.be/I3l4XLZ59iw So, back to the question of this topic. Could Prince star in his own Biopic?

Why so much push, suddenly, for this one idea. Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

No. By the way, there are no plans to use cgi Leia in the next SW flick because Fisher had already completed episode 8. The producers also have recently stated that they will not use cgi Leia in any more SW movies. As for cgi Prince, maybe if they used it sparingly in a biopic it would be okay. I dunno though, I would rather a proper doc be made with available vault footage.

I was unaware of the newest update to the Fisher story, but it was considered. https://www.google.com/am...ent=safari Either way, the technology does exist and will only get better. I'm not sure if I like the idea myself, but I can tell you a bad CGI of Jimi Hindrix would have been better than Andre 3000s performance. There will be a Biopic. It's inevitable.
