Did Prince ever see Le Petit Prince? The dolls by Troy Gua? I'm sorry I don't know how to post pics but if anyone could that would be great. I'm just wondering if Prince ever saw these amazing dolls? And what he thought about them? Surely he had to find them cool. Does anyone know?

Troy does not sell the doll. He has a book of LPP art that you can purchase (limited copies) with the images he artfully creates of LPP. His work is very meticulous and spot-on. If you go to his website there is a video explaining LPP, it is actually very clever. Plus he has other videos where he has recreated scenes with LPP. <3 his work and I follow him on FB. Very nice man. He even has a LPT (Le Petit Troy) - a version of himself and one of his wife. Such a talented artist. |

Oh wow! I will go and see if I can get that book! I had no idea he had done anything like that- Yes, he is spot on I don't know how he is able to get some wood to look just like Prince! Really amazing! You know Prince had to have a giggle about them even if he did shut the dolls down...

The question was did Prince see them.. From memory he tried to shut down whatever Troy had going on.. cease and desist.. Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now! |

Right. I know that and I have seen threads on the doll--- I may have even heard before that Prince shut them down- What I was wondering is if anyone had any inside information on if Prince himself had seen them (not just his people who monitor infringements) and what he said about them. Sometimes people on the org have some inside info. that's what I was looking for with this thread. | |
