4 Questions

All those DRM vids from NPGMC...should I finally delete them? Or maybe the estate/webmasters will turn on the licenses for these files again (presuming such a thing is possible) once the legal dust settles? The mp3's and ahdio's I have in my iPod, but the video's won't play.

.

There was a live version of 1+1+1=3 recorded/released during an incarnation of the NPGMC days. Presumably performed during the Celebration shows. From what I remember, the song was about 3-4 minutes long, and ended with Prince speaking in a slowed down voice teasing about "Xenophobia: coming to a monitor near you." Does anyone remember/experienced playing this track on Winamp (old mp3 player) and hearing an extra 3 minutes of the song? If you played this file through Windows Media Player, you got the short version, but other media players played a longer version.

.

How did the Org survive, but HQ was shut down? As I remember it, HQ had less crazies compared to the Org.

.

And finally:

.

Was there ever an incarnation of the org that had a black background with neon-green font? Like in its infancy?

1) There's virtually no chance of those videos ever working again.

2) I used WinAmp exclusively back then and I don't recall this or know how it would be possible.

3) Housequake wasn't shut down, Aaron chose to close it.

4) Yes.

Thanks for the info! I'm almost certain the live track played at different lengths depending on the media player, but since I've migrated to Mac devices, I can't replicate it on my machines.

.

Pity about HQ: it was my go-to site for all things PRN-related (the weirdos on the Org seemed to proliferate exponentionally around 2006 onwards).

All those files are available on the interwho, no DRM.

I've always used Winamp (still do) and 1+1+1=3 never went beyond the "xenophobia" jingle, I think you had a hallucination of some sort.

My downloads from the NPGMC still work. I still have several of the audioshows and the vids.

IIRC what was said on the Org at the time, he was tired of receiving cease and desists every other week, but I may be wrong.
