I saw more than a few "special guests" play Prince's instruments. During more than one soundcheck from the ONA tour NPGMC members were invited to play with Prince on stage. Whether or not they lasted for more than a few bars was a different story. Look at the Prince in Hawaii book and you can see a local favorite musician jamming with Prince on Maui with Prince's guitar and he used his tounge on the strings. No comment on the one but it was a hell of a night! I don't count singing in the microphone for a couple of songs on stage as the same thing but if you do, than I can say that I did that too | |
