Is it possible that they got his phone number from the call to EF, was able to review his phone records and find that the OP called PP as well?

This is not a matter of national security. But the authorities were authorized and able to positively identify then research someone with very obscure interests, having nothing to do with the matter. Just to "check a box".

Just be careful what ya say in here or the site itself. My thought. NSA will not contact for this type of situation. DEA, yes they will. It's drug related.

This has NOTHING to do with the NSA or "surveillance".

The investigators obviously have obtained LEGAL SEARCH WARRANTS for all calls in/out of any phone number related to PP, Prince, his band members, employees, etc.

Oh brother Look, people shouldn't go overboard over this situation, there's only ONE person who gave enough info to indicate follow-up is being done with her and it was due to her calling PP the day he passed. The op said it was a DEA number, so if anyone has received any calls from MN then it's pretty simple to determine if it's a DEA call. OF4S was asked in another post if the current handling of the Prince/drugs thread had anything to do with DEA contact and said NO. Please calm down people and direct these kinds of inquiries to the mods of prince.org, rather than starting yet another crazed panic over nothing. Geesh, are there only children posting here these days? Get a grip on it
