The Associated Press is also reporting on the unsealing of the divorce file. |

It sickens me that the evil Star Tribune was able to get this unsealed but I'm not sure why anyone is surprised she'd want to maintain the lifestyle she had when she was married to him. Good grief there are so many celebrity divorces where the spouse ends up getting a huge settlement. Michael Douglas reportedly shelled out $45 million to his first wife which is why he has a pre-nup with Catherine Zeta Jones.
If it sickens you then the easiest way to not vomit is to not read it. |

I think building schools in honor of Prince is wonderful..however if he gave her $1 million to start her charity, and another $3 million when they divorced was given to her charity..Then didn't Prince build the schools? She also received donations from his fans.Lets remember this.
Preach!
And the other thing I was thinking was...They've been divorced a long time. Why did it take this long to build the school? Or was the building of the school expedited because...4/21?

I have my doubts as well. But why does she care so much about how the public or I guess Prince fans even view her anyway? I mean she got what she wanted already; the money, new husband, the gorgeous kids. She's living her life and whatever we think or gossip about on here should not make any dent on that. You'd think so, but...who knows?
Mebbe the domestic bliss she's able to enjoy with EB is what she really wanted to enjoy with P, but P fans know that historically our lil stubborn sexy man was flawed, very flawed.
Sometimes you get exactly what you want or need, but not from the person you want or need it from.
Mebbe she thought she could change him.

She cares because of her Prince connection. I bit most of connections she has was of the result of being with Prince and meeting with all kinds of famous people and industry people. She has shaded Prince over the years and she is no Goody two shoes. People tried to say she was playing it up but some people believed her and felt sorry for her. I am not saying she should not get anything but she asked for a lot moolah but wants to be seen as hippie charity philanthropist. Their divorce is a typical hollywood thing. Files should not have been opened. |

I think the deleted threads speak for themselves, trust me. They only make Mani's case worse by impeaching the 1st amendment. Too much manipulation on all levels. Rest assured, orgers are not fools. They don't speak their mind but they witness a lot of things on here. This is my normal life. These marital standards cannot be recreated with money. |

Um
Not to be inappropriate, but I think old girl was far more focussed on the "PurpleBounceBounce" than she was on any flaws P had.
Just sayin
By the time she woke up to the fact that while sexy af, P was also human and flawed, she was already married.
P's not completely innocent in all this either, messin with lil legal-but-young-thangs, but at least he tried not to give up.
I think P really did beleive in love, he just wasn't great at execution, poor baby.

Yep, she was a fan, then an employee, followed him around, tempted him, broke up his marriage, promised him love 4 ever, married him, lived the high life style, cheated on him, left him, divorced him, and took millions from him.

I don't blame a man for wanting to bed a pretty young thing, but 20 yr age difference will never work. I'm sure she behaved as any young 20 something thrust into the lap of luxury and all the trappings that go with it. I don't blame her for wanted the records sealed. And I don't know if it was ultimately moral for the newspaper to dig into something both parties agreed to seal and kept private.

No, he broke up his marriage. I am usually going to try to defend Prince but it was his marriage and his obligation to remain faithful (as well as Mayte's). The other woman is an outsider.
Manuela might have been guilty of greed (just like Prince was at times) but you have over-simplified she and MT's relationship in my opinion..
Do we have proof that she cheated on him with EB? Do we have proof that Prince cheated on Mayte when they were still an actual couple with MT? Does anyone have proof that the rumors about MAyte cheating are not real (or real for that matter?) None of us know.

A 20+ year age difference can work out just fine. My great grandparents were 20 years apart in age. They were married for 40+ years, had 5 children, 19 grandchildren, and many more great-grandchildren. It's not the age difference. It is the COMMITMENT of the people involved. In regards to the conversation about Prince tearing down the house P shared with M2, I actually think it's funny as hell...but I also think it was P's way of not having to see something again after someone in his life was gone. He did the same exact thing to his dad's house after his dad's estate was finalised. The property is still there along with the gate that had P's symbol on it, but the purple house was leveled. JS
OMG! I had almost forgotten he had the "Purple House" he gave to his father razed. LOL! I am glad to see I was not the only one laughing when I read about their conversation......made me drop my damn tea as I was reading it! That part when he said "it was a dead house...it had to go and infestionation" had me like WTF?!? And then asking her "what did she just feel?" Again what in the hell?!?!...all she could say is " like someone punched me in the stomach." I am like damn I really underestimated the fierceness of Prince. After I saw the amount of money she was requesting for monthly support...nah bro, she was not digging for gold ...more like she was digging for platinum! I guess the article in Rolling Stones mag just happens to come out the day them divorce papers was unsealed for the public to view....It made her look worse like she doing some kind of PR damage control! You guys were not around the org when CJ claimed in her column that wifey was her unlikely pen-pal and was in direct contact with the her around the time the divorce was filed. What does that make her for bringing the strib into it in the beginning?

Sometimes the links don't work so you may need to copy and paste it.
Doesn't make me like the Star Tribune that's for sure. The only reason they wanted these files unsealed is because they thought (or were hoping) the documents would uncover some secret drug addiction and then they could splash that across their front page. So I am LMAO that they got nothing and this was an incredibly boring divorce as far as celebrity divorces go. Paisley Park is in your heart

I have these same doubts. In fact, it would not surprise me, at all, if Manuela made up the whole story about contacting Prince about this school. From the beginning, I have seen this as her way of inserting herself back into Princeland. She knows that she blew it by divorcing Prince, so chick wants to have her cake and eat it, too. I'll bet that Prince's spirit is happy that she is being exposed for the money-grubbing opportunist that she is.
.
Let's face it, charities are big business, especially when they have big, beloved names like Prince Rogers Nelson attached to them. And many of the people who run charities make a boatload of money. Indeed, in many cases, only pennies of every dollar raised actually go toward the charitable causes that the organizations/individuals use to raise money. The lion's share of the money in many charities goes toward paying "overhead," like HUGE salaries and expenses of the administrators...and for lavish parties and benefits. [Edited 1/14/17 4:44am] |
