If either of these women had had a living child, the settlement would have been higher (and more complicated). Relatively short marriages with the legal firepower and money on Prince's side. No contest at all.

Around the time she announced her book is when the "re-connection" talk started. It's obviously PR. None of us know the whole truth only God, P, Mayte and Manuela know that but U know what? U dunno whose sitting behind the screen and what information they really know. As far as some of these comments in here, ... ya'all seem to forget these are human beings, with problemsn, and emotions and flaws and so on. Nobody is perfect, and neither was Prince. I can imagine both Prince and Manuela being hurt by the divorce and lashing out at one another. It doesn't make either one of them bad people, but simply flawed human beings.

Sealed records exist to protect privacy, reputation, prevent tell-all books, make it seem like things were cordial when the divorce happened, even if lawyers were stirring things up to get money out of the other party.

That is a ridiculous accusation to make.

I personally closed, snipped and hid a LOT of threads where Prince was attacked for no reason. And ESPECIALLY when people were flaming him.

I also banned many of the more persistent trolls who only came to this site to attack Prince. I can't speak for any other mods, but we all have limited time and there's no possible way to see every post and every thread, so like I've said a bunch of times, typically action gets taken when threads or posts get reported by other users.

It's a totally false narrative to suggest that we deliberately allowed threads that attacked Prince to stay. I know damn well that I never stood for it, and the proof is out there - look through old threads and you'll find plenty of snips that I made where people were doing that.
