1) Unless you are a moderator, or the creator of a thread that has been removed that we have reached out to, you are not privy to why a thread is deleted, so anybody that says "This thread was deleted because XYZ" is basing that on nothing but pure guesswork.
2) No member has ever been banned for simply expressing an opinion. People get banned for flaming and attacking, which is a violation of the site rules. No, you are not permitted to attack moderators. That's true - because you're not permitted to attack anyone. It's right there in the site rules. It makes no difference if it's a moderator or a regular member.
3) It's a misnomer to say that threads that bashed Prince were allowed to stay and threads that bash associates were not. That assumes that all the moderators are a single entity with the same opinions on what should and should not be closed. I've removed dozens of threads that have bashed Prince over the years and so has literally every other mod. I'm also sure that I've missed a bunch and so have other mods. We don't get paid for this. We don't get to read every thread. I've said it a bunch of times - if you're unhappy with a post or a thread, report it and we'll take a look.
4) Being "neutral" is in itself taking a stance. Just like any other opinion, you are free to agree or disagree. If I remain "neutral" on the issue of the unsealed documents, for example, I am implicitly agreeing to it by not opposing it, just like if you do not act when you see someone getting abused in public you are helping the assailant by standing idly by. I disagree with these documents getting unsealed because the two people directly involved in them wanted them to remain sealed. I do not believe either of them should be attacked for it, and that's all there is to it.
5) I likely take more heat than any other mod due to my visibility, but there is something that remains 100% factual here, and that is that on any issue, every single mod here has taken an action on it. So while it's easy to see some threads getting snipped and deleted and concoct a ridiculous narrative about me, the fact is that other mods took that action in many of those incidents. I would daresay that luv4u takes more action on threads than I do, so what's the narrative there? This is what I mean when I talk about a false narrative. But, some people are gonna have preconceived notions and look for things that fit their narrative even when those things aren't there. I don't mind, it is what it is.
My account was 'frozen' for 48 hours, and I am yet to be given an explanation as to why!! |

Deepurple said: You know the song "Find Another Love"? I know it was originally written & sung by someone else but P added to it & it sounds like he was talking about Manuela." You said I was what you wanted...Liar! You never wanted me that way...I was someone you flaunted..Hired, Fired U never had a plan to stay..I tried to b what you wanted...I'm tired,tired..The house we use to share is Haunted...Expired, Expired. U use to think I was so much fun, now I'm just the guilty one..Everthing we use to share our clothes and even our hair. Now all you see is what I did, How come I can't tell me that kid. Behind my back I'm just a so and so ( I think he must have been referring to Tamar going on tour with him) But she refused to travel with him. By this point I believe she was developing a relationship with Eric. In his song "Love" he talked about her "playing him" It makes me so sad for P because he really loved her and thought she would share his life and his faith with him but it seems she just used him. She has no idea what she did..She was in such a favored position and she could have been a true companion & helper to him. Together she and he could have helped so many people physically & spiritually. But she only thought about her candles & charity...sad
It was more than that.
She wanted the "Prince life" - but she also wanted something he (apparently) couldn't give her: a baby.
I really, truly think that was at the heart of all of it. Back in the NPGMC days, when she was starting her charity, there were things posted about it and she would say stuff like, "One day, my children will..." etc. etc. I'm sure there were other factors (it's never about just one thing), but the lack of children-bearing potential in that relationship had to have been pretty big.
She seems to have been strongly motivated to keep everything she had with Prince - and get what she didn't have with him subsequently. But you can't have it all. [Edited 1/17/17 9:05am] Didn't she know that before, or when, she married him? Why would anyone agree to marry someone knowing they couldn't, or wouldnt, give you children?? Especially if that's important to you, which it would seem to be for someone as young as she was and who it seems wanted children of her own in her life. Wouldn't that little detail easily be a deal-breaker? So from the get-go there is the impression that M2 married him for dubious reasons and/or perhaps with no intention of it being a "forever and ever" type commitment on her part. Which is really quite pathetic and sad. Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic, or just foolish, for thinking couples today go into a marriage with the best intentions of spending the rest of their lives together. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN |

ITs a "Stipulaton and Protective Order" which protects both parties from outside scrutiny or exposure. Its what he and Manuela signed to keep the file under wraps. He is the respondent because he is the one the divorce was filed against.
Here is a similar MInnesota form called Stipulation for Protective Order. .

This is true. If there was an iota of smutty tingles in the divorce file, the Star Tribune would have reported it. If you notice, the reporter talks only about P's signature and not the contents of the Order P signed. I believe the Stipulation and Protective Order also relates to the sealing of the file. Which is why all I can do is laugh at the pathetic Star Tribune. Prince has been gone now over 8 months and nothing scandalous has come out. Maybe that's because he might have been a unusual/quirky guy in some ways he was kind of boring as celebrities go. Paisley Park is in your heart

Two questions:
1.) Wasn't 2011 the year when Prince decided he was tired of celebrities asking for free tickets up front which took fans' abilities to buy good seats away. He denied Wesley Snipes tickets that year...its in the GQ article. Either Prince was being hardline with MG or his people just assumed it meant everyone who was famous who asked for free tickets.
2.) Where did you get that assumption that an assistant who was infatuated with P denied MG. Are you just making it up or did you hear something. Remember Manuela was not with him in 2011.

Mayte post on fb about Prince charging her to see him play (now updated with new post by her)
I am really surprised there is no topic here yet about Mayte's fb status from 3 hours ago:
Wow! I got "approved" to go see my ex-husband play but was told I have to pay!!! won't get into details... But I'm told I have to pay!????
And her post after a lot of comments by her fb friends:
everyone don't hate him as an artist. This is my Facebook page to comment on things in my life. I commented that I was asked to pay. In a respect thing, I think it's disrespectful. Everyone has their views and things to say. Yes there are 2... sides but it's an issue of respect. That's all. Nothing else . Btw, I'm not going. Lets all go back to enjoying the music. And if you like him as a person ...so be it. I'm not saying anything bad. Just commented on what was said to me. [Edited 5/28/11 9:20am]
MG says she wont go into details I beleive it was Prince's Assistant ot Manager at the time who was totaly infatuated with him and would not let MG near him.. she never mentions its actually Prince telling her directly she has to pay.

Thank you.
That is the elephant in the room that everybody is turning a blind eye to. Whining about privacy out of one side of your mouth while doing everything in your power to be seen in the media is contradictory and hypocritical.
A person simply cannot have it both ways. Putting yourself out there so enthusiastically and then expecting the media not to notice is stupid, period. It's what they do.
Quietly attending a memorial and making a brief, heartfelt statement would have sufficed, but no....
Out of sight out of mind would have avoided most of the scrutiny. There are a whole host of people who have respectfully remained low key such as Bria.

You should write an illustrated book. Love it!
I must say however I did find one email interesting. The one about the house being gone. The tone of the email initially seemed friendly. At the end, Manuela says: "I better go" and Prince replies: "..rather you didn't but ok" Added to her initiating the divorce and Prince's attorney communicating that it was not what Prince wanted leads me to think that he indeed didn't want her to go. This is my normal life. These marital standards cannot be recreated with money. |

We already knew about the house back when it happened but I don't know if you had already stopped visiting the org at that time. What is interesting about the emails and IMs is that they pretty much confirm what we suspected.
I imagine that he may have been open to continue counseling, but there are times when the universe/God or whatever we want to call it will remove people from your life to protect you. She tried to imply that he was happy and healthy when they were married but if that was the case then why did she leave? If she really knew something and was concerned at the time why not stay and help instead of posting shade years later on social media?

No because work product is information known only by the attorney and client.
The Stituplation and Protective order was filed in the divorce case, therefore, not only did Ps attorney know but so did M2 and her attorney.
It would NOT have required a waiver of attorney/client privilege. If it was filed in the divorce case it was no longer privileged information.
I hope I have explained this well enough because sometimes it gets confusing.
