Dr. Funkenberry Podcast

http://www.stitcher.com/p...=48779739. Interesting information about some of the deals in the works and some info he has on the divorce. Going to be interesting when those papers are released.

I really love his podcast. He seems a genuine and nice chap who didn't just blow smoke up Prince's arse. Even if you don't like him as a person (and I do) he has great guests, who give some pretty good insights. and to me has the best interests of P and his legacy st heart. P trusted him and used his website.
.
Miss our P tho. Little guy.

Thanks Laura. Great idea about the commercial for Spotify and Apple Music offering Prince music airing during the tribute. I hope they can pull it off.

I think some of his ideas are really good and I just hope the estate was able to cut a good deal with the streaming services.

I just listened to this last night. I have to say, I felt Dr. Funkenberry's latest episode was one of his best. Shorter than others and no guests but I found him to be more open than ever and his word choices were very appropriate and fair (these are little things I picked up on like when he described Manuela possibly being "hurt" when she/or that she "was divorcing him". He was very mature and respectful in these ways.

He also had a lot of important information to share with us fans and I appreciate all the time he must put into researching or watching what's going on so he can explain it concisely to us.

The only suggestion I would have for him is to try to speak a little more clearly sometimes because I miss some important words sometimes.

I think it was made clear in this last podcast that he really has Prince's best interest at heart - but not in a too "clingy" way I've heard in the past. He did a very good job.

As for the content of this last podcast, we do have a lot going on right now with the estate, music availability (I've been spoiled lately and YouTube take-downs are killing me! I'm ready to buy more stuff, just make it available please!), with the Van Jones issue today and Manuela's divorce documents tomorrow. Not to mention all the things in the inventorying of the estate (which seems like an incomplete list).

I love how he says Prince was old school and that's true. It seems Prince didn't trust stocks and bonds and kept things pretty simple. When he didn't know what to do with a lot of his money, I can see him telling his staff to look into gold bars (lol!) That's like a lot of older guys I know who grew up with parents who grew up in the depression...these oldtimers I know didn't even trust banks...they'd put their money under their mattresses.

Prince could only wear so many hats...investments was probably outside of his interest and time he had which was better used elsewhere for him.

Real Estate, gold and good old cash hording is less time consuming and less risky. He had 100 other things going on and serious requires time or putting your trust in your broker. In the end everybody has to use investment vehicle that work for them and suits their needs.
