The Minneapolis (Democratic) mayor held more than one political fundraiser at PP. It was likely one of the best convention spaces in the area.
Make A Wish was only one other that we've heard about.
.
I don't think PP will have a problem attracting visitors. Tourist season is coming up, and as tickets start selling out, they can add more dates. They've had six months to get the kinks out.
.
As with other museums, events and exhibits will change and attract visitors to repeat.
I think The Egg would make a great restaurant.
The boutique hotel idea was good, also.
.

Interesting that he allowed political fundraisers at PP. I'm assuming he wasn't in attendance at these events?

---Tidal is looking for compensatory damages. Who did not see this coming? Did Prince make a financial mess or did the estate handelers. He did not have a will but according to Tidal he had an agreement with them that laid out plans for his music (which has all been redacted in the docs but appears to lenghthy) which was ignored.

I think his politics/beliefs (even though he did not vote) could best be evidenced by what he said in Baltimore. Yes, he wrote the song we know well, but he also addressed the crowd and said, when he returned, he wanted to stay at a hotel owned by one of them. He was someone who believed in hard work and thought no one was entitled to anything for free. On the other hand, he sought to raise up those he believed needed a hand - maybe someone or a group needed financial help, which he would often give anonymously. He mentored young musicians and singers. IMO he seemed to become more involved as he got older, perhaps because his legacy was secure and he could use it to better the world around him.

Something he said in George Lopez's show in 2011 always stuck with me. They were talking about music and the internet and Prince said people tend not to value things they can get for free and if you put anything else in the place of music you'll understand what he's talking about. Van Jones also talked about how Prince understood where BLM was coming from but he wanted them to channel their energies in to improving their lives and their communities, not just protesting (I'm paraphrasing). I think he was someone who worked hard all his life and had nothing given to him so he definitely had that strong work ethic but also knew there were times when people were struggling and needed a helping hand.

Of all the things I respect Prince for his work ethic is probably #1.

My guess is this "settlement" is in regard to funds generated minus payments to vendors,

musicians, etc (and Londell's fees evillol ). It could be a "settlement sheet" they are working on.
