I thought the song was called natural selection

been answered a zillion times but I always thought the production sounded too homeade to even think Prince did it. A great imitation no doubt, one of the best and that's saying something. Also, most Prince replications were a little behind whatever he was doing and I think this one has vocals that sound more like the parade sott era than they did the D$P era when it came out. The vocal mannerisms, those little rhythmic things that Prince did mainly came from the atwiad/parade/sott era.

ok, but I just received an "unreleased outtake" from Prince and it was this song I mentioned. didn't know this song and didn't know this was already been discussed here. didn't use the search function. sorry

wasn't deriding your question, just mentioning that it has been discussed because there is a similarity in there. I am also forgetting that since P died many of the people on here are new to Prince/and or new to the org.
