New Year's statements about P from associates Manuela
Manuela Testolini Yesterday at 2:22pm · 2016 has been a rough one on MANY of us in SO many ways. For me, losing someone who meant so much to me was (and is still) devastating. There isn't one day that goes by that I don't think of him. But if I learned one thing from Prince, it was to push forward. He said find your passion and live it, breathe it, and don't let anyone stand in your way. He told me I had a "special light" and that I should shine it. And I am thankful to him that I can do that every day. And as I have been reviewing our progress for this year, I am impressed at what we accomplished in spite of everything. Take a quick look and you'll see   Thank each of you for your support of me and In a Perfect World Foundation. Please know that it's because of you that I could keep going. xoxoM

This has been a year for all of us and we know Prince would want us to keep his legacy alive and do what we love!

What a year. 2016 has been a year of a lot of personal growth for me. I went through one of, if not the hardest things in my life which was losing Prince. It fo...rced me to take a look at myself deeply and I realized that there were a lot of things I hadn't faced or thought I had faced but really hadn't. Grief is a tough thing to live with but every day through the love and support of my family and all of you my incredible fans and supporters, it does get a little easier.
Though it's been a hard year, there has been some good. To name a few...
I started boxing this year and working out.. a LOT lol which has been so amazing. I played at #SXSW, acted with Sam Elliott, performed with Enrique Iglesias, started my #MusicMonday Sessions, got to open up for Brian Culbertson Official and announced a tour with Morgan James for April '17. I made some new awesome friendships and I suppose the biggest change of all was cutting my hair. I was always so scared of cutting my hair because it had become such a big part of my identity. It's been so freeing to let go of something I thought defined who I was. I'm ready to say goodbye to 2016 but I look forward to embracing more change and applying all that I've learned about myself and life to the coming year. Thank you for continuing to be a part of my crazy journey. Love you.

bringin n new years with @lionelrichie! But i cant help but feel alil heartache as i remember this time last year, watching the fireworks in the islands standing beside @prince. Still im happy 2 have the memories. Love you, miss you, i can never say enuff thank yous. But THANK YOU. Happy new year my brother
