Yeah I think this was probably the thing that hit me hardest in the shitshow that was 2016, I guess that seems a little selfish considering that events happened that will or already have had a much greater direct negative impact on a lot of people, and events like the terror attack in Brussels, Brexit, Trump's being elected and the violence in Aleppo all left me with a great sense of despondancy and loss of faith in humanity (btw I'm not arguing that any or all of these events are similar in magnitude) but on a purely personal level Prince's death produced the rawest sense of grief in me. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...
