Do u feel it should have been left on the album/in the film?

I love the song, sometimes wish it was included on the album

Still...can't really think of a better song 2 replace it with than 'The Beautiful Ones',think P made the right choice (as usual)









...saying that though, The full length version of 'Computer Blue' SHOULD have remained on Purple Rain...would have loved 2 seen The Revolution tear up the whole 10 minutes+ of the song in the film

I'm sure the album turned out quite like Prince wanted it
too. He said so himself that The Beautiful Ones was always
the ballad of choice once it was finished.

Still, I can't help but melt completely to Electric Interc.
It's live and pretty bad quality, but that all ads up to
it's appeal I guess. Very beautiful song. I looove the
vocals on this one.

I believe there are at least two rehearsals of the song together with the live version from famous 1st Avenue live performance, the latter circulating on both audio and video.

I haven't heard that song in years then one morning about two months ago, straight out of the blue I woke singing this song in my head and have been re-aquainted with it. A very beautiful song. My copy of it is the rehearsal, poor quality, but still can be enjoyed.

Now I gotta go find the old bootleg and listen to it. I don't even remember what Electric Intercourse sounds like...

i just got a copy of the first ave. '83 video, so it'll be a while before i get acquainted with this track...

Electric Intercourse is not as good as the Beautiful Ones. The scream at the end of EI doesn't fit, the song is too sweet for it. "Don't u wanna make love, sweet love?"
