Last night, I put my Purple Rain DVD in

And the machine said, "Disc cannot be played."

Sort of puts a button on 2016, doesn't it? confused

Aww! give it a quick polish, try it again, and if it doesn't work any more you know what to do--new disc for 2017!

Actually, since it's the 20th anniversary edition, I was thinking that if the "extras" disc is okay, I'll just buy the movie in HD on iTunes.

I bought Prince into 2017 by watching Purple Rain last night on the new blu-Ray release. It was amazing. I was surprised by the difference in quality.

I would have had the biggest cuss-out of my LIFE falloff hope it didn't frustrate you terribly, & you still rang in the new year enjoying something you love! biggrin

Thanks. I had plenty of other stuff. A friend and I watched Under the Cherry Moon "together" - she in California and I in Wisconsin. And I watched Miles From the Park, too.
