The original USA release didnt not come with a poster.

I spotted this today. Went to my local record store with great excitement to purchase and then I saw it... Damn Not sure if it's a printing error or what but there's a white border at the top of the front cover. I'd also like to know if this is the same with the American release, if anyone can confirm?

These re-issues are such a small run, that I suspect all copies will have the same error, unless of course if each territory has printed it's own stock.

For example, the North American copies are printed in Canada, and the European copies are printed in German.

Sad indeed. As one of the few 12"s I've yet to add to my collection this was my most aniticipated release. I wish this thread were stickied! Can anyone post picks of their N. American/Canadian release pretty please???

Warner gonna re-release "Purple Rain" on picture disc in April.
"Lets Go Crazy", "When Doves Cry" and "Purple Rain" 12-inches on the same day as well.

Great, I have that Mexican PR picture disc since forever and still don't know if it is a bootleg or not.

A PR reissue PD would be nice, but all of the reissues do seem rather random.

In some ways that is fun, but it wouls be nice to know what will happen for certainty.

It would be cool to have "re-issues" of formas that were missed the first time - so not really reissues.

.

For example, 12inch singles from The Vault or Chaos And Disorder. Some really early ones would be cool like Gotta Stop.
