Cream video vs Gettoff video Which video do you prefer? To be honest, I cant decide, they both have great things about them. The Cream video is Prince, looking pristine and surrounded by glamour. The Gettoff video tells a story, its informal and more like a secretive venue, an aftershow where you get lucky and get to meet him and dance with him.

They're both fun. Gett Off just swings it for me simply because I think it's the better track. | |

Gett Off video is based off the old 1970's Hustler porn classic "Caligula." It is almost the same exact set. It was a huge orgy. If you can find it or Google images of it, you will see the similarities. I'm sure Prince enjoyed watching it and making his own version. Even in Gett Off, there are some glimpse of nudity that was purposely left in as a little tease. Got to look real close to see it. The Cream video is so much better shot, edited, and Prince's look and the moves and colors are better. I love the song Gett Off, but felt the video was hastily and poorly done.
Wish Gett Off had been more like the design of the cover, some deep dark colorful fake fur / shag carpet crawling fantasy.
This looked more like a cheesy set and hodge podge of stuff thrown together in a few hours to me.
I was very disappointed at the time and also didn't care much for the MTV performance of it.

Cream - that video is stellar! Song-wise, I'd go with Gett Off, but Cream is one of his best videos.   I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it | |
