Papa could've been based on Prince's step dad Listening to the BBC2 documentary again Dr.Fink said that Prince told him that his step dad was physically abusive to him. I don't remember this particular information being discussed here before and thought it was an interesting disclosure by Fink. He even apologises to Prince on the documentary for revealing it.
So I'm guessing Papa is about P's step-dad and not his dad. | |
