Just reading through the Economist current issue, and there is a very subtle hommage to Prince - in the "The World this Year" summary we have various subtitles, and they are as follows:

"Let's go crazy" - referring to the Brexit (and then other stories as well...)

"When doves cry" - the bombings of Allepo

"Sign of the times" - Turkey coup attempt

"Diamands and pearls" - Bayer taking over Monsanto

"Controvery" - the social/political/economic situation in Brazil

"Pop Life" - the Pokemon Go phenomena

Someone at the Economist must be a huge Prince fan. Props to him and the editorial staff
