He said P let everyone know that he had written "Dance Electric" for him and it was not a classy thing for P to do - said it was "tawdry". He also said he did a lot of the work on "Controversy" and P got all the credit. That and plus his baby caused him to leave. Here's the interview: http://www.waxpoetics.com...re-cymone/

--Prince's name is openly listed as the writer of the song do I don't see how that is tawdry and Andre needs to stop saying he wrote "Do Me Baby" as the song sounds to much like "Frantic Moment" Eddie Hazel. He needs to not go there.

  2. I love Andre and always have but calling him as talented as Prince is bullshit. Even he doesn’t believe that.

--I don't believe it either but a lot of people who grew up with them believed he was going to be the one.

Zach Hoskins blogged about this yesterday. He quotes Owen Husney, who reflects that "it was a lot deeper and a lot more hurtful than just the breaking-up of a manager and his artist.”
