Okay, I listened to my copy of "Sexy Mutha" again just to make sure and you're right, it's a different censored version of "Sexy MF" without the scream covering up the expletive.

But my original point was that 4Ever is a collection of A-sides whether they be commercial or promotional and the clean album version ("Sexy MF" - clean version) or shorter clean edit ("Sexy Mutha") of "Sexy MF" were never single A-sides so that's why a censored version of "Sexy MF" was not included on 4Ever while a censored version of "Gett Off" was.

But I think the point of someone else in this tread was that if WB or Prince wanted to include clean versions, they had the chance to use the clean Sexy MF version, because they used some other album versions as well.

Anyway I have no problem with the clean Gett Off, I like the single version.

None of the other songs are album only versions. They all appeared on singles--or in the case of "Purple Rain", the 12" single--or were edited in a way to mimic the 7" versions like "Mountains" and "Let's Work", but none were exclusively album versions like the censored "Sexy MF".
