"Blues-Guitar" on Youtube.

There is a clip from the Rave concert (I believe?) where he just tears the guitar for 6 minutes. I've been hooked for many months on this clip when going to the gym. People often asks me "So you listen to Hendrix?" "Who is playing guitar?!?!?!?!?!" "What an amazing solo!!!!!!!! Who is it?". When I reply with Prince, they're speechless almost. Is this guitar performance on a godlike level for a novice like me when it comes to recognize guitar technique, and scales and so forth? And who is the man with the loooooooong top hat and robe standning next the the synth? And what happened to Jonny Lang in the house?

It's titled, 'Blues Medley' on the DVD - but it's mostly Prince's version of Hendrix's, 'Red House' (retitled as 'Purple House' when Prince played and recorded it):

The live performance featured Morris Hayes on keyboards, and Kip Blackshire on keyboards and vocals.

Jonny Lang guested later in the show on 'Baby Knows'

ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
