Not sure if this has been posted before , I tried the search function and saw some Nile Rodgers threads but could not find this interview in particular. Very funny insight into working with Bowie and playing with Prince.

The funniest part is the bit about Swedish girls and the love of the Swedes for Mercedes Benz and BMW. I had no idea that the Swedes are that much into Beemers and Benzes.

And if Prince said that the Swedes could dance, then the Swedish people must be good dancers.

Thank you! No, they can't dance. I can dance, without a drop of alcohol. Swedes only dance to house music, while jumping up and down with their hands in the air drunk of their asses. Our middle eastern community can dance because of the R&B love (which I also love). And they also love Beemers and Benzes.

And the critics and journalists of Sweden adore Prince. They still consider him as the biggest influence in modern music and the greatest musician and allround artist of the last 50 years.

But the swedish people in general have no love for Prince yet. And that goes for the fucking DJ's to. I'm the only one who request him on the dancefloor. And thats when you bring all the people back to the Prince love.
