Get the direct URL to the JPG, then simply click the photo icon in the edit area and paste it.

The copy & paste doesn't work like that.

And the IMG tag does work. Or simply clicking the picture icon & pasting the direct URL. There's no bug in that, because we all use it regularly.

came here and pasted image.. it does work

Ok learned the hard way that it doesnt work from my iPad, only from my Mac. Copmletely different options available on the desktop.

Thanks to everyone who posted suggestions. Your encouragement kept me trying! What a community! i was encouraged and amused to see how many people weighed in on what some might have thought a trivail thread...

All I can say is that I wasnt very much in the Christmas spirit this year, so many losses, including the sudden death of a dear co-worker just a few days earlier. But I enlisted my daughter's help on this project and before you know it we were very much in the spirit, play with ribbon and feathers and baby's breah, determined to make something beautiful and joyful. We were pleased with it when we hung it on the door, and took a few pictures... and then suddenly got the idea to place a poster behind it and we were even more pleased with the effect.
