This is the band I would recruit. I think these ladies would represent with a mixture of interesting ideas and technical virtuosity. In addition, all have worked with Prince in the past.

Wendy Melvoin - guitar
Lisa Coleman - keyboards
Sheila E. - drums, percussion
Me'Shell NdegeOcello - bass, cool vibe and spoken word
Candy Dulfer - sax
Patrice Rushen - keyboards, vocals
Marva King - vocals

Wendy & Lisa ???
God Come on

get the hell over it

its 2003 people.

yes I said it !!! -- 2003

not 1986 ..

thats almost 20 years go

This band would need Wendy And Lisa in it as they're the only female band members he's had that can actually write really good songs. They're equal to Prince in that department. The other women may be fine musicians but W&L would be needed for songwriting duties. Wendy can also peel off some great guitar solos.

No you can't!

Could we add Brenda and Susan on tambourine and maracas? The band could use a little of their skank-power!
