Apollonia 6 on Spanish TV: Ultra rare performance! For my latino people or hardcore fans...
Anyone remember way back in 1984 or 85, Apollonia 6 performed a song or two on a very popular Mexican produced TV show called "Siempre en Domingo"?! I remember this performance very vividly. They all performed in their lace outfits of that era. I do remember feeling suprised that they were down there performing to promote Purple Rain movie. I think though it was towards the run of the popularity. SO maybe it was around 1985 because I also thought how kind of late that was that they were out there after the Purple Rain tour. It was interesting because they all looked great and the video was different than say, American Bandstand or something, the quality was odd, very lit stage. The host always interviewed the acts after a performance so I kind of remember the host speaking with Apollonia and interviewing here in Spanish. The other girls just kept quiet. I remember also Apples wearing the black lacey shawl, looking very beautiful. They used to show that program here in the states in spanish speaking television. Anyone remember or see that or even TAPED IT!?! | |
