As much as I'd love to have it, I don't want them to rush it. Music fans have seen their share of hastily put out low-quality reissues/box sets. Consider how poorly mastered so many of Prince's CD reissues have been. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I think Purple Rain Deluxe CD would have marginal sales if it were just re-released with songs from the movie from other artists like the time and appolonia 6. Most fans have all related artist songs already. They definitely need to release officially unreleased songs of which many fans have but they aren't not in high quality sound. Also I would like to have alternate versions of classics songs from the movie. Especially the full length version of computer Blue in high quality.
Keep your Fingas crossed. Christmas is a little over 2 weeks away. It would make a great stocking stuffa. | |
