All you have to do is look around, and look at the entertainment industry--it's all about money and greed. Prince wasn't having none of that. Even with all his money, fame, success, he was still "humble", and "down-to-earth". He didn't let any of that change who he was. I love him for that!!
Well put. I don't understand how/why people would take a thred about his charitable contributions and try to twist it. He was a good person and took care of others. 2 sevens together

I don't think anyone can claim Prince didn't like nice things but I would argue his homes in Chanhassen were quite modest compared to many celebrity homes. I'm not counting PP as a home. Yes it did have living quarters but it was never classified as residential and is not located in a residential neighborhood; its on the corner of a busy highway. Honestly I think it's cool he chose a city like a Chanhassen to call home when he could have built a huge mansion right on Lake Minnetonka or even left Minnesota for good for some posh LA neighborhood. I believe that the philanthropic nature of Prince would have been the reason for the LLC being established with the main revenue stream of his lifes work being given to benefit all the charities and projects he wanted ongoing. It seems a very smart way to protect his wishes. Regarding the family included as beneficiaries is not a probability as discussed by informed people due to tax issues. I think the estate that remains outside the protection of the LLC was intended for his family and a will was appropriate for that matter. The lawyer that assisted him in gaining ownership of his Masters and setting up the LLC,that she also now manages, would have known about his intentions with regard to the assets not protected by the LLC, I am assuming.
