Would you buy an official boxset of his demos (specifically for songs eventually sang by others) I was just listening to his "we Can Funk", "G-spot" and "the Sex of it". I love his versions.
I would love to have a boxset of his best demo recordings (cleaned up but sounding pretty much the same

I would pay for it. 1990s prices. Top dollar. Charge me, please. This, above everything

Yes, but if it is done properly with context to the era and some info (recording dates and reason use) with it but not tossed all in a hat and not random [Edited 11/22/16 22:54pm]

Well, yeah. | |

We Can Funk is, of course, a song by Prince for Prince (with a bit of help from George). I'd certainly pay to get an official release of the earlier, superior version though.

YES. Would love to hear his original versions of Sheena Easton, Vanity, The Time, Sheila E, Martika...so many others. Must include all the tracks. Consider naming it "The Prolific Experience" since that's how he wanted to be remembered - as a prolific writer.

Of course. Debating the merits of two slightly different versions of the same thing a conrnerstone of the human condition!
Great quality would be a must, but If such a set also turned up previously unheard recording, all the better.

Most of the stuff in the vault is demos, as Prince said on Arsenio and a few other interviews, he works the song to a certain point then either continues it for a project or puts it in the vault to revisit and finish later. This makes sense to me since halfway through one song he probably had two more in his head that he has to get out.

Yes. But I would never by the songs if someone else sang them . I want Prince's music unchanged. Clear ,but unchanged I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

Totally, because most of the bootleg collections have varying qualities of mastering and just hearing Prince versions of Jill Jones songs alone is worth the purchase price. . Hopefully they would do a decent job and choose good songs, master them well and not like put 6 or 8 songs on a disc (Unless they were like 20 minute long mixes). . I think we need this, forget all the "Forever" type nonsense where the most known hitz are repackaged again and again. Most buyers of posthumous releases will be hardcore Prince fans anyway. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Yes, on the strength of the Vanity 6 & first 2 Time albums alone. All I ask is to keep them tight chronologically and as-is (no added parts).

I'll buy anything from the vault. I didn't buy 4ever because I don't wanna pay for what I already have but one song, but I will purchase any future vault release. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
