Prince was doing a jazz album for Blue Note? Finally getting around to asking this question... "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

A possible release on Blue Note was mentioned in the Rolling Stone cover story from 2004, but I don't recall hearing anything since then:

Well, he was working on the NPGQ album, which was a jazz album.
There was nothing mentioned publicly about it being released on Blue Note, though. |

This morning I've been listening to Dr. Funk's interviews with Adrian Crutchfield. "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015
