Rogifan, are there at least some decent photos?
If they raised the price when they saw the demand only to take advantage of Prince fam, I will be very unhappy about that and I won't forget it when I visit there.

Nothing special in my opinion. Such a shame.

Yes it is. Well, given that I have no memorabilia at least it will be something.

Buy this! It is fantastic! Better than most of the tribute mags which came out earlier this year.

I will speak about the articles.... They have a home-grown sensibility to them that most of the National and International tributes did not. It feels more like they were writing about a friend, while most other tributes were in such awe.

If that makes any sense.

Makes perfect sense Musze!

I really enjoyed the article about Peyton Russell....the man who gold leafed Prince's star outside First Ave. The comment about Prince "watching him through a potted plant" was especially endearing!

I do agree with rogifan in the sense that there could have been more content about the people/places she mentioned that were relevant to Prince's life; however, overall, I am glad I made the out of state purchase.

what did bobby z have to say? iirc, bobby had commented earlier this year that he would start to tell his story in this issue.

Wonderful issue. I enjoyed every word and lerned a few things I didn't know. This was my 28 magazine purchased and definitely my favorite. Light on pictures if that is important to you.

So I wanted to see if anybody agreed with me about the cover painting. To me, it looks like the Entertainment Weekly cover from 2004 (The Weird, Wonderful Return of Prince) or something like that... with colors darkened and the afro added. Anybody agree?
