Hard to say. Some of my favorite songs are on 'the Ball', although not in the versions that make them my favorite songs. The Ride, for example, is killer on The Undertaker, at The Rex, even at the Beautiful Experience show and Bagley's, but not so much on this version. What's My Name seems to have the vocals lower in the mix than on the boot version. Days Of Wild is an amazing version, and yet there are parts I'm not keen on in this version ('Free The Slave').
So, to answer your question, Crystal Ball, the 1st four tracks on disc 2, Days Of Wild and The Ride. Oh, and a lot of The Truth. | |

Good Love, Cloreen, Honest Man, Movie Star, Crucial, Sexual Suicide, the If U Break My Heart One Moretime song...forget the actual name, but I love it! I'm still kind of hoping that Paisley Park puts out another Crystal Ball type release. I didn't really enjoy the mixing of 90's jams. But thats just me. | |

'Crystal Ball' (the song) just destroys the world!!! One of his top five tunes eva!! A truly epic funk/jazz/ rock odyessey. He always kills me when we reach 'Listen to the bass man play!!!' Funk out!! Imagine if he'd got this song out on ONA tour with that band!!
Nothing else anywhere near as good on CB, though. 'What's My Name' and 'Calhoun Square' are cool. 'Movie Star' is just joyous. Also respect to 'Interactive' amd 'Last Heart'. | |

The other day  was watching "showgirls" the movie and
one of the songs that they dance 2 was "ripopgodazippa". imediately rememberd that the first time heard that song on the cd, knew that it sounded very fimilar. Now know why, When saw that movie years ago, I loved that song, and never knew that it was a o(+> song.
