I got emotional while listening to Holy River It's not even a favorite song of mine, but i think it's probably the most touching emotional song by P.

It's a very emotional song. Sometimes it made me emotional even before he passed, when I listened to it. I haven't listened to it since then. |

Holy River just touches on so many emotions in me. My heart just aches. I cannot hold back the tears when I listen to it.

Yes, Holy River touches me deeply also, but I could get emotional listening to pretty much any song of his these days.

It's a stunning record. The instrumental released on the NPGMC is awesome. . Thank you Mr. P. .

I've always loved it. It's one of his most touching, personal songs ever. It's the kind of song I wanted to hear right after he left us...

I don't blame you, ever since my first listen of that song especially when he details his proposal to Mayte it's made me feel some type of way...and the way it leads into that blistering guitar solo ðŸ˜
. Truly beautiful song through and through. This is one of those songs that gets me aligned with the spirit, strange how his music can do that. [Edited 11/27/16 14:35pm]

Holy River is dope. All My Dreams' ending got me yesterday . For all time I am with you, you are with me.

. It's a particular favourite of mine too. I always find the lyrics incredibly moving, just because they seem so personal, self-aware and heartfelt. It's this part that resonates with me the most: .

Yes, it's one of those songs that have hit me hard after his passing.

Other of my favorite lines is when he sings: "The band's playin' at the club 2night and they're bound 2 groove" his voice especially.

Yeah, me too. I like when he says, "Jesus". Man, I miss him bad. So sad. klick

Been there. It's a hard song to listen to now. In fact, I find the whole Emancipation album emotionally challenging. Even the lyric booklet with that photo of him looking so happy in his son's nursery. Ouch. Poor guy. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"
