Feelings about the vault through the years Susan Rogers started Prince's vault in the early 80's as a way to have all his recordings in one space.Through the years it has become one of the great mysteries in the music world. While Prince was alive the unreleased tracks were treasures among us die hard fans almost off limits to the casual listeners who only wanted to hear the hits on repeat. The old tapes I still have of his bootleg material is still priceless to me.As I listen back now as the "casual listeners" discover tracks most of us have known about for years I feel a certain sadness as I realize he's gone and the music in the vault will be all we have from the brilliant mind he had.im also happy to hear new tracks that will deepen my passion as a Prince fan. Any thoughts?
