Never having been to Paisley Park...THat was A TRIP....

So colourful

and dark yet at the same time

there is such an indescribable JOY in there..I could FEEL it from here...

In the NPG Music Club room, back in 2000, it was called the Love 4 One Another room. Furthest upper left hand corner there is a single room with a low ceiling and a ladder leading to the top. Prince and guest would sit on top of that room watching the fans dancing to his music. I can still picture him up there. Yeah, I can't go to Paisley Park for awhile because I would still see him in too many places and I know I would break down and cry.

Wow - I hope one day to see it - not ready yet and have to save up quite a bit to get there from Australia but was wonderful to see some of this. Interesting they didnt show any of the Purple Rain room or I may have missed it.

The media were only allowed to photo the Under The Cherry Moon/Graffiti Bridge room and the Love 4 One Another/NPGMC room.

Me too!! I love that checkered floor in black and white. I remember that clearly from the Parade show in Rotterdam in 1986. Just recently we bought a house and the kitchen has that same checkered floor. I told my wife: "this floor stays! Whatever we do to give our home our personal touch, but the kitchenfloor stays!"
