For the longest time I thought he only "dressed" to the left, then I saw quite a few pictures to the right...and finally a couple where it appears he had somehow pulled it up towards his navel, sooooooo...

I'm probably late to the party but we all know P's famous for his guitar faces, heck there's an entire pic thread about it.

But I was watching some guitar solos and it started to dawn on me that there's a certain note that he plays that coincides with the "orgasm" face...and I seriously started paying attention during each solo I watched...and I think there's a correlation between P playing a certain note/set of notes that affected him physically...

Then I remembered him saying in an interveiw that the song of his guitar was the sound a woman makes during an orgasm.

I'm not sure I follow. Ok, he had a belief system and that belief system centered around his belief in a higher power that he beleived to be G*d.

Many religions beleive in G*d as higher power, not just JWs.

And the one thing they also agree on is that G*d invented sex.

P was religious before and after becoming JW and was never ashamed of it.

P also had sex before and after becoming JW and was never ashamed of that.

I'm confused as to why it seems that it's more specifically about him becoming JW than it is about him generally becoming devout.

I just wonder if there would be as much...derision(?)...if he'd become Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, Mormon, Hindu, Hari Khrishna, Baptist, Buddist, Hindu...I'm not religious so I'm always perplexed by those who are...Except P cuz he seemed genuine regardless of what beleif system he was or wasn't following.

I just keep seeing people post in other threads as if he was suddenly a target to make fun of because he found something he chose to believe in and appeared to be happy and proud of working in sync with those beliefs.

Like somehow he wasn't an imperfect human who tried and sometimes wasn't always as sucessful in trying to be in line with his beliefs. Like trying to be what his belief system might see as moral was ridiculous cuz after all, P's obviously not capable of having moral fiber worth lauding cuz he was and will always be an immature libertine.

It makes me sad to think that people didn't have faith that this spiritual journey he was on was important to him and that he was trying to live up to the tenents he believed in.

It made me sad to think, after all this time, I thought we were nudging and winking and laughing with him, not at him.

Please don't apologize to me. There is nothing to apologize for. I always like reading your posts here. IMO Prince needed faith in order to put one foot in front of the other after he lost his children. That, for me, was as defining a moment in his life as his dad kicking him to the curb at age 13. The fame, the money, the success ... I think he would have given it all up to have a family. His fellow Witnesses became his family when he was lost. I do understand that and I am happy they embraced him as a brother.

But I am sorry cuz for some reason, reading what I believe was an innocent comment on your part made me cry and I feel as if I reacted to the feeling that P just can't ever seem to be taken seriously in this one area that appeared to mean so much to him.
