Since Prince seemed to have recorded everything, there might be something int he vault. I have always wondered this too and have asked if any of his father's music has been recorded. I have yet to get an answer. This is one question I would like to ask Tyka. Is there any recordings of all of them jamming together? I wonder. Peace, love and purple hugs.

Prince often gave his father, or a band member a co-writing credit. It wasn't that they were necessarily involved with the song in any way, but it was a way of them getting a bit of a paycheck (royalties) from time to time. He did the same with band members when it came to associated artists' albums.

John's involvement on "Scandalous" is non-existent most likely. He might have had an idea on "The Ladder", but even that is iffy to me. But imagine the paycheck for John with the success of Batman. Not a bad call.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
