The people of Minneapolis have been brilliant since his death. Its been the one positive I have got from his passing. Its been very moving to see. Yes, he deserves it, but you don't always get what you deserve do you.

It's really beautiful to see how Prince is being honored, and very sad at the same time.

I went on the tour again last night. It was much better than the first time. There were only 10 people on my tour and there weren't groups ahead or behind us waiting around to move onto the next room. I ran into Kirk and spoke to him for a little bit. He was very gracious. He said that they plan on having events in the near future, i.e. dance parties and live shows. I only noticed one change in the displays and that was that they removed the orange cloud guitar from the SOTT room and replaced it with the acoustic guitar with the mirror heart, seen in Forever In My Life from the SOTT film. The cloud guitar from the SOTT period was peach. I aslo confirmed from a second source that the large symbol on the huge doors leading from the sound stage into the L4OA/NPGMC room was painted over a few days before Prince passed, at his request. That symbol had been there since 1994.

In my city there is a streeted named "Prince" and I kid you not, a couple of streets over, another street named "Nelson". Each time I pass I think of ways to climb the pole and remove the signs.
