I am so glad to see that the re-zoning has finally taken place. Now we fans can breath a sigh of relief knowing that we can eventually make the trek to this Mecca. I think I will try to make it this coming April or May for myself. I've been told not to go in the summer months as it's far too humid. |

I just noticed '7801' on a couple of places on the building (which is the address) for the first time. Have they recently been added? Was it some requirement for the museum?
I think they were added back in August. I'm assuming they're required?

YES!!! Thank you for sharing this picture. Nice memory.
During that concert, members of the Revolution (Mark Brown, Dr. Fink, and Bobby Z) came on stage and played with Prince.
Then, we all got to have an after-party at Paisley Park. This is my normal life. These marital standards cannot be recreated with money. |

Kind of an interesting piece written by a "super fan" suggesting ways to improve the PP tours: https://scottwoodsmakesli...er-museum/
a really good article.
Was fortunate to gop to the 1st ever celebration & it was stunning. Tour guides were super knowledeable, saw more rooms than I could have ever imagined, working band in the studio [FonkyBald heads!] , various NPG band mates freely walking round & chatting etc. Instruments galore, stories galore..got to play on the Linn Drum machine!! etc. |

I just got home from my tour. It was nice and I hope the museum is a success. I'm glad I went but I think its a bit over priced for what you get. The gift shop was disappointing. Hoping they add more items. Mostly leftover t shirts from past tours is what I saw. I wanted a shirt but not one from a tour I never attended. I got pretty emotional initially upon starting the tour but managed to control myself until the end while we watched his super bowl performance. I had to seek refuge in the bathroom for a few minutes while I composed myself and dried my tears. My favorite part just off the top of my head were the doves for some reason. It was comforting somehow seeing them and hearing them cooing. I could imagine Prince in that space, enjoying their presence as well. I heard one person in our group say he was disappointed we didn't get to see more as far as personal living space. Altho i admit I wanted to know what was up those stairs too I knew it wasn't part of the tour and wasn't expecting it. I was pleasantly surprised with how light it was in there as the place lacks windows but there are lots of skylights overhead. Our tour guide was fine but didnt offer any information I didn't already know. Never tried any of the food offered in the cafe area off the gift shop. All in all it was nice to get a glimpse behind the scenes at PP. The round bldg looks to be in disrepair somewhat. Hope they fix it up and use it for something in the future. I still think its a waste to let all that equipment and those studios stand empty and quiet. Artists should be encouraged to use PP for what it was meant to be. Concerts should be held there. Just my two cents. Staff we encountered were all nice and pleasant. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN |

Thank you so much for sharing this. I want to go so bad. I will make it there when my heart heals a
bit more. I think the doves would be my undoing. I agree that the studios should not sit unused, and
that there should be concerts held. I also think that showing past live concerts would be awesome.
Again, thank you so much for sharing. |

Thank you for sharing this. I am planning on going next year, probably in May. At first I was going to go in April but I think it would be too much emotionally to deal with. I'll probably end up in the bathroom with leaky eyes myself. I still am grieving, like many of us here.

Yeah, I worry about that too. In the meantime I think The Revolution should go on tour and have Sheila E and The Time as their opening act. They could play small clubs. I'd pay $100 to see that. Enthusiasm for Paisley Park will slowly wane. Not enough casual fans even know it exists. |

I think it can be successful but prices will probably have to come down a bit. It's possible they're pricing things to get a feel for how much people are willing to pay and will adjust prices accordingly in the future. Paisley Park is in your heart
