Interesting. McGlynn Road is the one by the preschool. Currently, you enter/exit their parking lot from McGlynn. So they are going to have to reconfigure all that?

The Associated Press is reporting on the Chanhassen City Council voting to approve rezoning, allowing PP to open as a museum.

Start a thread in the Fan Gatherings forum! We can see how much interest there is in doing such a thing.

I'm not a good candidate to organize something myself, as I will be off the grid a lot over the next several months. But I am definitely interested in participating!


During my trip this month, I stayed at the Radisson Blu downtown MPLS which was very nice but pricey! Three nights, including tax and parking, was $547! But next time I go up there I am going to do a lot of things differently, lol

You know how politicians are.

It would be cool if they had tours Thursday-Sunday and booked the studio Monday-Wednesday. Also some nights have concerts on the soundstage and music education events etc. I bet more stuff will happen eventually when they find a groove.

It was honestly a fantastic experience to visit Paisley Park. I highly recommend it. They hired the most welcoming staff. Touring in small groups of 15 allowed a certain rapport between people sharing the same interest. Some fans with personal experiences would share unique memories and recount as if they were living it once again. Paisley Park is clean and seems well taken care of. The people I toured with were respectful to all artifacts. There was a good energy too.

I am considering going back with more people now that it is officially a museum and open for more tours.

I feel the same way. I was there between 2000-2002 during the 1st celebration and all the Friday night parties thereafter until he closed to go on tour. A great time!
