Mini-documentary - "Sometimes It Snows in April: Atlanta Prince Fans Tribute"

Here is a short film entitled "Sometimes It Snows in April: Atlanta Prince Fans Tribute". It's directed by Bobby Huntley.

It's truly heartfelt:

Thanks Latin for sharing. I have tried to stay away from tributes as I felt that I wasn't ready yet. I

was right, I wasn't and I'm not. It was beautifully done, but it's gonna take some more time.

Yes, it's very difficult for many of us.

Hey this is my project. Thanks for sharing it. I didn't want to make this originally. But I had to do it as a way for me to make peace with never bring able to see him.

I became a fan just as he stopped touring Atlanta regularly. ( as you see from my sign up date here lol)

Wow. That was really moving & powerful & beautifully presented. This filmmaker has real talent. I wasn't fully prepared to watch that tbh but i'm glad I did. I truly believe that his spirit lives in all of us & it is up to us to keep his legacy alive & to keep the purple flame burning strong. 💜💜💜

I would add more white fans. He had a ton of them. The video seems a bit biased. Other than that, it's nice.

Wow! Really a great job on that vid. Had a hard time getting through some parts close to the end, but it moved me and the folks that were interviewed did an awesome job as well. I hate to see people who are hurting, but it's good to know that there are many more like us out there. smile Thanks for creating this <3

Sweet wind blew
Not a moment to soon.
I cry when I realized
That sweet wind was you.
(Tears go here)

The video is quite moving and heartfelt.

It's also great that it features the perspectives of several people of color.
