enjoyniki said: Electric Intercourse is not as good as the Beautiful Ones. The scream at the end of EI doesn't fit, the song is too sweet for it. "Don't u wanna make love, sweet love?"
I guess P agrees with that opinion cuz he deleted EI from PR and recorded THe B 1's... -------------------------------------------------

This is one of his purple prime perfect songs..even though it (live on aug 83) sounds like somones piano or something isn't tuned properly. "Technicolor Climax" part is jammin "Climb in my fur."

I love the song, sometimes wish it was included on the album Still...can't really think of a better song 2 replace it with than 'The Beautiful Ones',think P made the right choice (as usual) ...saying that though, The full length version of 'Computer Blue' SHOULD have remained on Purple Rain...would have loved 2 seen The Revolution tear up the whole 10 minutes+ of the song in the film thats a beautiful avatar --thats the perfect image. If only they could have made that a poster it would beat the Controversy Promo Poster . [This message was edited Sun Apr 6 21:48:17 PDT 2003 by rdhull] "Climb in my fur."

This is probably one of my favorite unreleased songs.. it was simply CRAZY not to leave it on anything, or even a b side, it has a lot of energy for a ballad type song, and its simply beautiful..
Perhaps one day | |

There is no studio one...only the rehearsal version, and the one from the first avenue show (there may be a couple of other rehearsal versions, but no studio versions).
