I've been going through all the old singles I had and trying to collate everything in a digital form on iTunes so I can take it out and about. It's been nice to delve back into his music through the decades.

However, it's really hard to get high quality artwork for a lot of his official releases - and in the spirit of albumartexchange I'm a real stickler for good art.

SO... If anyone else feels the same way how about we start a vault here on the org of good, high quality official artwork for iTunes or whatever your preferred digital platform is. It could be either the best possible quality scans or suitably methodical recreations if good scans are not available. Moderators - is this cool? Don't want to fall foul of any copyright / org rules.

To give you an idea, this is some artwork for the 'limited edition' "Gold" CD that I created as scanning the outside of the CD doesn't give good results:

that would have been a good cover for "the gold experience". i hate the official cover for that.

Yep, this is for the limited edition 'Gold' single. I like it too.

Just wanted to give an example of the kind of size of image and quality we could aim at... this was an easy one to recreate but some of the others really need good scans.
