Anybody remember her doing Vibeology on the MTV Video Music Awards? That was painful to watch.

But yeah - her song "U" is an old Prince track from the Rebels days. There's a demo of his version floating around on bootlegs - i've always thought it was a pretty cool song.

Rush Rush was a really sweet song. I still love it. If Prince happened to write it (I don't think so...) then he was foolish not to keep it for himself. Just like Open Book, Prince must've thought his ballads were too formulaic back then, giving them all away. When in fact, they were gorgeous...

Anyway, Spellbound was a damn good album (for a Paula Abdul record). Rush Rush, Vibeology, Blowing Kisses in the Wind, U...good stuff.

Forever Your Girl, on the other hand, is only marginally better than Tiffany's or Debbie Gibson's albums...
